Job Description
Individual will be responsible for achieving sales plan performance for two-way radio business by leveraging the indirect channel partner eco-system.
Responsible for the overall make-up of the channel partners which includes but not limited to: recruitment of new partners and/or modifying existing channel partners territories, cancellation of under performing channel partners, training and mentoring of channel partner’s sales/support resources.
Establish strong business relationships with channel partners. Develop business and marketing plans to ensure growth of the channel partners and the channel as a whole. Drive key Motorola Solutions initiatives through the channel while conducting formal business reviews and on a quarterly basis, present a formal business review to peers and channel management.
- Meet and exceed agreed upon sales targets within the agreed time frame
- Possess strong business acumen, analyze the territory/market potential and plan his/her time well
- Be comfortable with high levels of activity and varied activity including making cold calls and sales calls
- Maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales.
- Expedite the resolution of partners problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Attend weekly sales meetings and report on activity/escalations
- Preferably have channels management experience in Telecom/IT businesses for minimum 8-10years
