Get to know the Role:
We are looking for a Manager, Southern Sumatera to lead the operations, and represent Grab Sumatera Area. We believe a successful candidate has several key skill sets such as: leadership, complex problem solving, data analysis, critical and structured thinking, and project management, but if you believe you have what it takes then we’d love to hear from you either way. This role is required because the region is growing rapidly and aiming to contribute more towards the communities.
The day-to-day activities:
Lead Grab Business in Southern Sumatera Region with full operational and P&L responsibility. This includes overseeing the operating plan, marketing plan, budgets, sales strategy and overall city management.
Drive strategic initiatives across business functions & verticals (GrabCar, GrabBike, GrabExpress, GrabKios, GrabFood, GrabMart) to improve customer experience, to drive user acquisition and engagement, as well as to capture key growth opportunities in the local market.
Proactively work with both local and regional teams to drive execution, share best practices, and efficiently use common resources.
Build high-calibre local teams through coaching and training of teammates.
Communicate and influence senior stakeholders on financial performance, operational metrics and monetisation strategies.
Maintain operational standard across Sumatera.
Extract insights from data, trends, survey and market intelligence,
Handle a big team of FTE and outsourced people to support business.

You showcase excellent leadership in leading young and talented teams, and ability to connect with people across teams.
You showcase a natural orientation toward probing deeper into problems in order to identify the root cause(s) and new or enhanced solutions.
You are knowledgeable of business process management, identifying, assessing and controlling risk and successful initiative execution.
You have strong written, oral and presentation communication skills; ability to adjust and guide discussions at multiple management levels
