- Working closely with the KTT for the Site and reporting to the General Manager.
- Responsible for the systems related to safety, health, and the environment.
- Strategic planning and leadership for all mine operations.
- Responsible for the achievement of business goals for the organisation (mining operations, quality control, civil/engineering, and human resources).
- Preparing an annual budget for Opex and Capex.
- Managing personnel turnover and implement KPIs for the site.
- Set priorities for the project and the planning that goes with it.
- BSc in Mining Engineering
- Minimum of 12 years experience in mine operations and at least 3 years in a senior mining operations role. Some nickel laterite experience preferred but not essential.
- Dynamic, energetic and confident personality
- Experience in working in a multi-cultural environment will be advantageous
- Strong understanding of mine productivity and data analysis; Familiarity with mine design and survey software (Surpac)
