This important role within the Product and Contracting Department at Asian Trails Indonesia handles the uploading and maintenance of data in our company database and cloud-based reservation and booking systems. The data consists mostly of hotel or other supplier contracts in English language. The ideal candidate will be able to understand and read such contracts and understand which data needs to be uploaded or updated. Computer proficiency and IT familiarity (in particular spreadsheets and online forms), English language and fast typing skills with an eye for detail are required. On the job training in our software solutions will be provided. Following of data confidentiality principles is compulsory.
The company will rely on you for having accurate and updated data which is accessed by our teams in Indonesia and our clients around the world.
Overall Responsibilities
- Preparing and sorting documents for data entry;
- Entering data into reservation and booking software in a swift and detail-oriented manner;
- Checking and maintenance to ensure the accuracy of the data at all times;
- Resolving discrepancies in information and obtaining further information for incomplete documents;
- Update existing data;
- Responding to information requests from authorized team members.
- Indonesian nationals;
- Bachelor's degree in related filed or similar experience;
- Fresh graduates are welcome, with preferences from the tourism industry;
- Good knowledge of office computer systems and software;
- Good command of English, additional European languages are an asset;
- Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation;
- Being able to work accurate and concentrated;
- Be accurate and detail oriented;
- Pleasant personality and strong initiative;
- A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to prioritize and organize are preferred skill sets to fill this role;
- Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and work flexible hours during peak season;
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team;
- A “Can Do” attitude and positive thinking that includes creative thinking is an asset;
