Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervision of the correct execution of the activities of contractors/vendors in accordance with the approved drawings, schedules and prescribed rules and instructions
- Organize a kick-off safety meeting at the start of the work
- Participate in daily contractor toolbox meetings and address any concerns on safety observations or incompatible works discovered during the PTW (Permit To Work) review process
- Prepare and submit daily / weekly / monthly safety performance form to client through Construction Manager or Project Manager
- Recording and acting on unsafe act, near miss, and incident report at site and copy to PM and Head of Construction to the main office; and conduct root cause investigation into near miss reports and include remediation plans and follow up on horizontal deployment
- Verifying that method statement and job safety analysis of all activities requiring permit to work has been submitted, reviewed and approved by the Site Engineer / Construction Manager
- Inspection all equipments and tools such as electrical tool, machinery and heavy equipment (also regular inspection every three month) Review Job Safety Analysis (JSA) in term of contractor work method
- Provide HSE information for CM to be included in the report
