- Understand the business requirements / functional specifications / user stories.
- Prepare test cases based on user stories and any other requirements specifications.
- Design and implement reusable test automation scripts using approved tools, which can be used for functional testing, smoke testing, and regression testing.
- Design and implement performance / load test scripts using approved tools.
- Execute test automation scripts for each sprint / phase as per plan.
- Participate in system integration test (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) of new system functionality.
- Assist performance and security testing of new system functionality.
- Provide test execution reports.
- Conduct change impact analysis to assess potential implications of change to the test automation scripts and modify scripts accordingly.
- Follow Test Driven Development approach for automation script.
- Provide functional assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching professional and technical staff
