The world's leading manufacturing and production company based in Jakarta are currently recruiting for an Accounting Manager job to join their existing team. The ideal candidate must have three years of experience in budgeting and reporting knowledge within the industry. In this job, you will be responsible for all finance and reporting matters for the company along with budgeting and controlling.
About the Accounting Manager Role:
As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for handling end-to-end accounting finance and reporting to the SEA Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Month-end closing of the books and timely deliverables of requirements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and group accounting standards
- Review balance sheet accounts reconciliations
- Prepare variance analysis against budget and prior years
- Manage external auditors and statutory reporting requirements
- Overseeing the development of local policies and maintaining high levels of financial control
- Ensure overall tax compliance, accuracy and timeliness of company's tax reporting
- Identify and mitigate tax risks by improving processes and implementing best practices
- Responsible for local statutory reporting including liaising with auditors, tax consultant and local tax authority
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's (or above) degree in Accounting or equivalent
- At least eight years' experience in financial analysis, reporting and systems implementation
- Experience in e-commerce business
- Brevet A and B
- Good command of English
- Team player and able to work independently
- Good track record of managing and developing teams
- Positive, driven, enthusiastic and ambitious for the business
