Job Description
As a Quality Manager you are responsible for designing and documenting test cases and testing the Unit4 software (mainly our best-of-class financial management software, Unit4 Financials).
As a Quality Manager you are an integral part of the mixed discipline Scrum team and continuously deliver software based on user stories. You will contribute to the quality of the user stories and may contribute to the product design. You will be an active participant in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.
The Quality Manager is required to follow the company’s testing standards and best practices.
As a Quality Manager you care deeply about the customers and the quality of the software that you test providing thorough regression test scripts and liaising with the automated testing team.
Qualifications
- Strong problem solving ability
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of Agile Development Methodologies, including Scrum and Test Driven Development;
- The ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced dynamic environment. You have intelligent risk taking tendencies - you are not afraid to fail, but fail fast, and learn from the mistakes making everyone around you better for it;
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Education to degree level or equivalent
- ISEB Foundation certificate (desirable)
