That's why we need a Visual/UI Design superstar to join our team and create impactful, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs that benefit our company and users.

At Cadmus, we're doing a lot of great work rapidly to create a profound impact on our world through the power of education. With Cadmus currently being used in 50+ countries, we're looking for a Visual/UI Designer who is passionate about
Reporting to the Product Design Lead, our Visual/UI Designer will:
- Establish and develop a new illustration identity that will be used across all of our products, shaping the visual direction of our product.
- Own and centralise the Cadmus branding, ensuring it is consistently applied across our organisation.
- Evolve the Cadmus branding into a stunning and recognisable brand that stands out in the crowded tech market.
- Collaborate with marketing on the new website and other marketing materials, helping to shape the company's online presence and ensure that it effectively communicates the Cadmus brand to the world.
- Develop comprehensive, responsive UI across our web apps, and continually improve the Cadmus design system, creating user experiences that are intuitive and easy to use.
- Develop visual assets such as icons and illustrations that bring our products to life visually.
- Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Design or equivalent from a top University
- 5 years of experience working as a Visual, UI, UX or Product Designer in a market-leading, global technology provider
- Strong visual design skills: you have a strong sense of aesthetics and are able to create visually appealing designs.
- User-centred design skills: you are able to design interfaces and visual elements that are intuitive and easy to use, and that meet the needs of the target audience.
- Prototyping skills: you are able to create wireframes, prototypes, and visual mockups to communicate design ideas and concepts.
- Creative problem-solving skills: you are able to come up with creative solutions to design challenges and be able to think outside the box.
- Attention to detail: you are detail-oriented and able to ensure that your designs are accurate and complete.
- Communication skills: you are able to effectively communicate your design ideas and concepts to stakeholders and team members.
- Familiarity with design software: you are proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, Sketch, or Figma.
- Knowledge of design principles: you are familiar with design principles such as layout, typography, colour theory, and user-centred design.

Hiring Process

We shall review your application, and if you are successful, we will invite you to participate in our interview process. If you are unsuccessful, we will let you know why and try our best to help you fill in any gaps.
Our interview process consists of a recruiter phone screen, a hiring manager interview, a homework task and a panel interview. These will be completed online (via Zoom).
