An exciting Outside Sales and Business Development Manager (Geothermal) job opportunity has become available at a premium multinational pipe manufacturer company.
About the Outside Sales and Business Development Manager (Geothermal) Role:
As the Outside Sales and Business Development Manager (Geothermal), You would be part of a dynamic and agile team focused on growing the company's business in the Energy transition field and you would report directly to the Geothermal Director based in France.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own, develop, execute, and regularly review the business development activities for geothermal in Southeast Asia to grow the business
- Provide market and customer insights to enable us to position our offering for the highest possible success rate
- Develop intimacy with customers and grow the customer base
- Design, implement, and execute the go-to-market plan to grow the business in the region
- Manage any RFQ received with support of technical sales and inside sales in the region to provide timely, clear, and concise proposals and quotes to the customers
- Participate in events, fairs, conferences, meetings, and industry events to grow the market awareness of the products
- Provide input to the Supply and Operational Plan (S&OP) on a regular basis
- Provide sales projections and forecast on a regular basis
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business or engineering with a desire to work in the field of Energy Transition
- Minimum of five years of solid experience in product selling within the energy industry and experience in the Energy Transition field
- Experience with sales, technical sales, negotiations and customer service
- Knowledge in Geothermal/OCTG/energy/oil and gas industry and its key players
- Knowledge in tubular solutions products - including seamless and welded tubes, connections, and accessories - for the energy and industry market
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia both verbally and written
- Ability to interact with customer decision makers and commercial savviness
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to build new business
- Demonstrated management skills and a proven ability for generating new opportunities
- Excellent communication skills and is exceptional at networking, securing new business opportunities, and initiating and building strategic relationships, with a good level of emotional intelligence and an ability to thrive in a fluid and dynamic environment
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical solutions
- A strong, collaborative mindset with confidence and integrity, who is entrepreneurial, ethical, and extremely proactive
- Based in Jakarta and requires travelling within Southeast Asia region up to 50% of the time.
