An attractive Senior Business Development Manager (Industrial Products) job has just become available at an industrial products manufacturing company. This role is for someone with experience in industrial product sales, preferably catering to industries like cements, mining, pulp and paper or oil and gas.
About the Senior Business Development Manager (Industrial Products) Role:
In this Senior Business Development Manager (Industrial Products) role, you will be leading the overall growth of seals product business in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the profitable growth and lead the overall growth of seals product business in Indonesia and Southeast Asia
- Understand, analyse market trends and market preferences and develop a strategy to deliver development plans
- Actively coordinate and drive sales growth for a defined product group (seals) by developing and leading the expert knowledge and process optimisation
- Achieve strong and profitable growth for the seals business by working with the distribution partners, industrial sales, and OEM segment team
- Grow the business with profitably through expanding in the present mining market and process industries presence, developing value-added capabilities within the company's distribution network, OEM and end users
- Work to enhance brand awareness, perception, and positioning of the company's sealing solutions in industries to meet the company's strategic growth plan of 2025
Key Requirements:
- Engineering background in mechanical engineering and business/sales management is an advantage
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in industrial product sales, preferably in the sales of industrial seals with significant exposure to key management in both large OEM, end-user and distribution channels
- Experience in an SEA sales team leadership role with a strong technical and consultative sales experience is an advantage
- Strong customer orientation
- People management skills and the ability to positively influence and inspire the team
- Readiness to travel to customer sites and offices for a required meeting (around 60%)
