Job Description
- To assist Operations Distribution team to ensure the safe operation of all vehicle, prevent operational disruption, track the vehicle defects and formulate solutions to rectify technical problems.
- To participate in quarterly auditing or spot evaluation of performance related fleet management to Bulk Distribution. Capture all non-conformance events and provide summary in monthly basis, Co-lead with terminal Supervisor in monthly KPIs, productivity and review to highlights any performance gaps and determine corrective action to close the gap.
- To ensure proper in assigning the vehicle maintenance/servicing/repairing job to mechanics and to ensure that the job carried out in good order and work order are returned in timely manner for order closing. Ensure terminal supervisor and mechanic make use of LBShell fleet availability function to track and communicate to CSO for any plan or changes accordingly. - To work with outsourced vendors (3rd party transporter) to ensure smooth operations on bulk liquids delivery to all customers and work with vendors to ensure timely reply of any eCIC report to customer on any SAP complaint received. Update corrective action into SAP QM module after received confirmation from commercial to close the complaint. Subsequently forward notification to Terminal Manager for further action
- To report and co-ordinate vehicle accident/breakdowns at any time. Record any incident case to the monthly VAFR report in timely manner as per requirement.
- To work with terminal supervisor in monitoring and keep tracking of fuel usage and efficiency for all fleets in monthly basis and to ensure fuel billing are accurate in service level agreement.
- To oversee and ensure all trips documents returned and trip are closed correctly in timely manner into LBShell system.
- To co-ordinate with terminal supervisor to arrange with DST to implement and promote safety programs to provide effective driving training, retaining and evaluation standards for drivers performance. Ultimate result desired to have zero injuries and meeting VAFR targets given
- To ensure outsourced vendors (3rd party transporter) are aware of and comply with AP's EH&S rules, company policies, customer policies, operational procedures and regulations
- To co-ordinate with outsourced vendor (3rd party transporter) to keep drivers VCC and DOR records capturing and cascaded to the necessary follow-up parties to close the issue in timely manner. Periodic inspection to ensure practices in place.
- To participate and ensure BSP compliances to all distribution team including outsourced vendors (3rd party transporter) and drivers.
- To ensure proper driver working hour controlling and timely reporting of any violations. Work with vendors to recruit sufficient of qualified driver to avoid working hours stretching due to insufficient driver pools. Review and analyst daily/weekly basis to report analysis result to Terminal Manager for further action.
- To support and attend customer meeting upon request by commercial as necessary.
- Minimum Bachelor Degree, preferably with major in Engineering from reputable University
- Three years similar working experience preferred.
- Computer literate
- Strong leadership with good communication skills
- English fluency in speaking and writing
