Lead trips for the world's largest adventure travel company!
Our tours are delivered by our Freelance Tour Leaders, who are passionate about their country, have excellent people skills and solve problems quickly.
When leading trips for Intrepid, you don't just recite from a guidebook, you'll use your passion for your community to educate and inspire our travelers, you'll immerse them in your local culture and expose them to true real-life experiences - so they want to return, again and again.
With Intrepid you'll be ensuring that the work you do has meaning, as Intrepid focuses on giving back and investing in your local community, which is why we use local leaders, local operators and ensure we give back into the destination at every opportunity.
We are currently recruiting leaders in Bali, Lombok, Jakarta, Sumatra & Flores, with training starting as early as March!
To be considered, you must have or be able to obtain:
- HPI Regional Guide License
- First Aid Certificate would be beneficial
Customer service and be able to develop rapport with a broad range of individuals and groups.
High-level verbal and written skills in English
Travel experience throughout Indonesia
Any experience providing tour services as guide or a tour leader would be highly regarded
Computer skills, being able to filling out reports of incidents and trip expenses reports.
Intrepid's trips can sometimes be mentally and physically challenging, so you'll be physically fit and healthy, and be able to work flexible hours to suit the group's needs. Most importantly you will share in Intrepid's core values of integrity, innovation, fun, passion, growth, and responsibility.
