A mining company based in Jakarta is currently seeking a Finance Manager. In this job, you must have at least five years of experience within the industry.
About the Finance Manager Role:
The role ensures the corporate reporting, decision making, financial control and finance operations. The position reports directly to the Regional Finance Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial management consolidation reports
- Prepare financial projection for internal and external purposes
- Manage external auditors
- Provide specialist financial and commercial advice to operational management, driving financial performance through commercially sound decision making and analysis
- Assist the finance team (AR, AP, GL, Tax)
- Work with the operational team to ensure that there is a robust commercial process in place to achieve company's bid, budgets and forecasts
- Monitor and maintaining the bank's credit facilities, including building and maintaining relationships with banks
Key Requirements:
- Degree in accounting/finance/economics is required
- Strong analytical abilities combined with a pragmatic approach
- Dedicated, hands-on and a results-driven personality
- Previous experience at a mining company is a must
- Proven commercial acumen and negotiation skills gained through experience in dealing with complex contracts
- Strong in Excel financial modelling
- Strong communicator with the confidence to challenge, influence, and support at all levels
