Job Description
- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the growing accounting department (payable, receivable, cash monitoring, monthly closing) for Indonesia & Singapore (expanding to Malaysia & Vietnam)
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Reporting to HQ (Singapore)
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
- Make sure the company complies with accounting and tax standards
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting with a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Fluent in Accounting Software like Oracle Netsuite.
- Professional fluency in English
- Understand Tax Regulation in Indonesia (Employee Tax, Company Income Tax, Withholding Tax).
- A master's degree and/or CPA/CA are desirable.
- Minimum 4 years' work experience
- Experience from a renowned industry in a similar role or Big 4 consulting firm is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and project management skills to ensure timelines are met both for internal and external reporting purposes.
- Ability to work independently, but also fully communicate with the direct managerr, the subordinate and other internal/external stakeholders.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
