What will you do?
- Responsible for manufacturing process equipment: Creation / Update process semi-automatic or automatic machines.
- Responsible for Testing systems – creation or update (Product functionality control) refer to final product assemblies testing and and traceability system.
- Industrialize Supply Chain Strategy to ensure right service levels in plants – Assembly Process & Automation
- Realizing new Assembly Process lines
- Setup of Assembly process in Schneider plants, Subcontractor, Suppliers
- Labour productivity through Automation
- Enhancing Process efficiency in plants
- Upgrade, Retrofit Machine and equipment
- Review Capacity Management – capacity needs and propose profitable actions
- Deploy Industry4.0 Smart Factory solutions, Test and deploy new Assembly technologies in our processes.
- Reference & technology advocate for Industrial automation and new technologies in the region
- Provide Expertise support to the EAJP region and beyond
- Contribute to Regional Skill Animation of Assembly Process and Automation domain to enhance competency in the region.
- Develop plant team’s technical capabilities
- Support Manufacturing Engineering function activities for East Asia Japan Pacific region
- Manufacturing Engineering SPOC / leader for the site
Education : Degree / Masters in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics or equivalent Engineering;
Job Related Expérience : At least 8 years experience in Industrialization / Methods / Maintenance / Manufacturing Engineering.
Key Technical Skills
- Knowledge of Automatic assembly equipment, test benches build and maintenance
- Strong in Process and Machine design principles and Automation Skills (PLC, HMI, MES, VB .net, LabView, TestStand, SQL Database)
- Knowledge of process equipment like laser marking, riveting, resistance welding, Robots, Cobots, vision inspections, etc would be key
- Knowledge on Smart Machines, IIoT, Machine Learning and Data Science
- Knowledge on Lean Manufacturing, process line design & capacity management.
- Experience on Digitization, Industry 4.0 tech and its application
- Sound knowledge on Total Productive Maintenance (TPM )
- Clarity in thinking, risk evaluation and strong in project management
