Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-sales technical guidance and sales support for the development, adoption, and implementation of Fortinet security solutions in major accounts opportunities, mainly Enterprise Accounts.
- Assists the major accounts sales team in assessing potential application of Fortinet products and solutions to meet customer needs and prepare detailed products/solutions specifications for the development and implementation of customers' solutions.
- Understand the business requirements for major accounts customers' base and be able to translate them into technical requirement, for the creation of solution design and proposals with Fortinet solutions and services offerings.
- Serve as the technical subject matter expert in Fortinet security solutions - thorough understanding of Fortinet products/solutions, features functions and benefits while being able to communicate to all enterprise level customers.
- Perform in-depth technical presentations, solution showcases, and proof of concepts (POCs) for enterprise accounts customers or prospects.
- Work with Fortinet experts to help position the solution effectively.
- Initiate proposals and participate in the writing of RFP/RFQ/RFI/Tender documents templates and responses.
- Responsible to understudy customer requirements, environment, and challenges and able to propose/provide security solution design and implementation solutions to clients.
- Responsible for carrying out presales function in solution offerings (proposal, solution demo, presentation, build-up PoC test cases).
- Work closely and provide technical support assistance to customers.
- Deliver a technical workshop and joint planning session with enterprise accounts.
- Provide regular reporting of account engagement progress on a weekly basis.
- At least 7 years' experience in networking, application, and cloud security, preferably in an IT vendor environment with roles and responsibility in areas of service design, consulting, and elements of business/account management.
- Experience in supporting major or named accounts as Systems Engineer or equivalent in large enterprise vertical.
- Certifications such as CISSP/CISA/CEH/NSE4-7 is preferred.
- Experience with security products such as Firewall, IPS, Application Security, Email Security Gateway, VPN, and Cloud Security.
- Administrator knowledge of Windows, Linux, and DNS system.
- Strong understanding of networking technologies such as Routing (BGP, OSPF, RIP), Switching, and SD-WAN.
- Strong experience in security solution design and proposals.
- Relevant expertise and competitive knowledge including competitive solution, technology, and product offerings.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills (in English).
- Team-player, highly motivated self-starter, and interpersonal skills required.
