About the Fullstack Software Engineer job:
This position sits within our eBenefits & Fintech squad which we call SWAG. This team is building brand new first of it's kind products, which improve the employee experience and help our users manage their salaries, and stretching their salaries further.
We are looking for Fullstack Software Development Engineers to join our engineering team who are experienced:
- as a Software Development Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience building apps with Javascript/TypeScript and ReactJS, and/OR;
- 3+ years Backend Development with NodeJS and/or Ruby on Rails
- in building mobile applications with React Native
- in translating design wireframes into functioning UI components
- passionate about working in a high-performing, collaborative, respective and intellectually challenging team
- A strong communicator, with excellent English skills (both verbal & written)
- Strong understanding of standard Software Engineering processes, Testing, quality coding practices, and Agile methodology
- This is ideally suited to someone who is passionate about overcoming complex technical challenges and is excited to join a high-performing and supportive team as we move into our next period of major growth
- Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or similar qualification
- Experience in developing highly modular mobile applications
- You have experience in mobile application performance tuning
- You have experience in working with backend engineers to optimise API interactions
- You have experience writing unit tests, and are familiar with testing best practices
