About the Role :
As a Web Developer (WordPress) Intern, you will be involved directly with various projects with relevant clients and can openly channel your thoughts to create a better Ekipa ecosystem.
What you will do :
- Design WordPress and build landing pages with the Elementor plugin.
- Developing front-end website architecture and back-end website
- Designing user interactions on web pages and optimizing user experience
- Creating custom themes, plugins, and widgets using WordPress
- Optimizing website speed and performance
- Ensuring websites are responsive and mobile-friendly websites
- Testing the website for responsiveness consistency and troubleshooting errors inside the website
- Assist SEO Specialist in optimizing URLs & internal links and publishing articles in the WordPress CMS.
- Work with cross-functional agile teams to deliver business value and meet main objectives.
- Final-year students and fresh graduates are really welcome (a Major in Information Technology or Computer Science will be a point plus)
- Experience working with WordPress CMS, such as: navigating through multiple plugins and "drag and drop" builders in WordPress, theme, and plugin development
- Have a basic understanding of web analytics (GA, GTM, FB Pixel) and programming language (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP)
- Knowledge of basic SEO principles and techniques will be point plus
- Intellectually curious and eager to learn about Agile ways of working

- Eagerness to keep improving together (doesn't wait for orders) and ability to work independently in a home office (doesn't need hand holding)
- Strong analytical, design, problem-solving, and troubleshooting/debugging skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to participate in an internship for three months.
