Job Description
As Lead of GD Team, your responsibility will consist of
- Managing all game designers in under her/his responsibility, which includes their daily work, technical issues, evaluation, and compliance with discipline as well as working rules, studio regulations…;
- Implementing actions to motivate the team, and to enhance and keep good team spirit, to drive them to commitment and excellence.
- In cooperation with relevant producers, supervising game design works
- Training new comers and making sure they well integrate into the team and quickly get the required knowledge, skill, and performance.
- Organizing activities or proposing initiatives (ideas, solutions, process, tools…) to improve the skill, performance/productivity, working behavior of the game designer team, to enrich their game knowledge about different game genres and platforms, to enhance their creativity and ability to evaluate games.
- Professional game design experience within an established studio - including release of multiple titles.
- Good knowledge of game editors (Unreal and Unity)
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office and game prototype creation
- Excellent verbal/written communication (Fluent English) with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience and knowledge of live mobile game development,
- Ability to work on a technical level with all members of staff in all areas of expertise and drive the implementation of design ideas.
- Passionate about games, design and technology
