- Keeping up-to-date with laws, regulations, and professional codes relevant to the Company's business/operations and ensure compliance with legal requirements in the area of Commercial Law, Competition, Advertising Law, Environment, and other applicable legal frameworks;
- Responsible to handle the overall legal transaction of the company;
- Collaborate with senior management in the development of corporate standards and policies and oversee the implementation to avoid or minimise legal risk in line with the regulation in all corporate matters activities;
- To secure compliance of business operations with relevant laws and regulations;
- Negotiating, reviewing, and drafting various agreements, from procurement agreements, and partnership agreements;
- Draft, review, negotiate, and legal analysis by providing legal advice on matters relating to company business activities and transactions to avoid or minimise legal risk and to comply with the prevailing laws and regulations;
- Provide day-to-day legal advice and consultancy for all departments and external legal counsel, including but not limited to, analysing legal risks/opportunities when advising the current business or when entering a business project, support associated with business process improvement, product development, operational matters, and special projects;
- Represent the Company in the court of Law;
- Manage and advise on corporate governance in accordance with the Articles Association of the Company and the regulation;
- Manage and develop the team.
The successful candidate will have:
- PQE 20+ years, both manufacturing or automotive industry & law firm experiences combined;
- Own a PERADI license is a must;
- Great exposure in Industrial Relations and Employment;
- Excellent network within Customs, Police and other related government ministries;
- Legal acumen in the realm of Indonesian Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, Civil Procedure Law, Arbitration Law and Procedure, lodging the formal report of a criminal cases to the local Police within Bekasi and Cikarang area, and Manpower Laws;
- Honesty, strong integrity and excellent communication skills;
- Problem solver, able to think and navigate outside the box (within legal corridor);
- Strong skills in drafting legal documents implementing proper criminal and civil law legal theories, with due consideration of criminal act prevention, response against criminal actions, litigation and mitigation plan.
