Get to know the Role
We are looking for a GrabExpress Lead in West Java to lead the business thinking, and operations and represent Grab in West Java. We believe a successful candidate has leadership, strong structured thinking, comfortable at problem solving, has a strong analytical skill, stakeholder management, and ready to lead and execute the projects.
The Day-to-Day Activities:
You will report to Area Controller & Strategy Manager
This role is based in Bandung
Responsible to lead the overall GrabExpress business and operations in the West Java area, driving hyperlocal strategy, and collaborating initiatives with external and internal stakeholders to grow Logistic business in West Java
You will be given specific resources (manpower or team, budget) and are responsible to achieve targets for the top line of the business, ensuring the business is running in sustainable growth
You will lead both conceptual and practical problem-solving initiatives with the agility to shift directions as quickly as needed
Accountable to understand the market and competition dynamics, agile in facing the competitive landscape and driving a viable business
Accountable to accept challenging assignments, helping leaders make tough decisions, partnering and overcoming obstacles to deliver results
Accountable to ensure the delivery of end-to-end process, from planning to execution
Responsible for identifying, comprehending, and synthesizing internal and industry data (provided by the analytics team), creating hypotheses of trends, and assessing business risk
The Must-Haves:
You have Heart, Hunger, Honour and Humility
Bachelor's or master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics), or equivalent experience.
Advanced written and spoken English
2-3 years of work experience in consulting or a technology-related analytical role
Curiosity and passion for Grab
Strong analytical skills, with experience solving ambiguous problems using data and providing practical business insights
Strong process-oriented skills and drive to find the most efficient way to do things without sacrificing a high quality of work and/or results
Proficiency in Excel
Ability to partner cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, operations, product management, and/or sales
The Nice-to-Haves:
Understanding of GE products & services (Instant, Sameday, Regular)
Understanding of supply chain terminology first mile, middle mile, and last mile, 3PL and 4PL
Understanding the competitor and business landscape of On-Demand Delivery and logistics especially in Indonesia
Understanding the opportunity that can grow from On-Demand Delivery such as fleet management, fulfillment, crowdsource model, micro mobility delivery
