Job Description
Roles and responsibilities
- The Project Manager is responsible for the implementation of GE Healthcare localization project in Indonesia, ensuring that all milestones are completed in a timely manner, with quality, in accordance with defined global standards, milestones and customer satisfaction KPI.
- Manage all aspects of large projects through the 5 major project management steps:
- initiating, planning (scoping), executing, monitoring and controlling and closing.
- Define the project scope: Part #s, MFG processes to transfer, etc., and high level strategy.
- Determine product quality and compliance gaps with existing processes, and gaps that will be created with the transfer. Develop and implement corrective actions.
- Work with sub-teams to develop: Validation/Verification (V&V) strategies for FDA regulated processes, BOM migration and part set up strategies, inventory strategies, etc.
- Define all project requirements such as fulfillment, Quality, Regulatory, V&V, EHS, etc.
- Lead all sub-teams to develop the activity list, sequence, priorities, etc. and develop a detailed project plan.
- Obtain buy-in from the team members and functional leaders to support the resource allocations demanded by the project. Communicate plan.
- Lead the execution of the team(s) to meet the project plans. Adjust the plan, schedule and resources as needed to meet the plan.
- Identify risks and take appropriate actions to avoid or mitigate the negative risks.
- Communicate to all organizations throughout the project lifecycle: Status, changes, impact to other organization and projects, etc.
- Ensure no fulfillment gaps during the project, quality and compliance are improved, project is within budget and timelines are met.
- Uses some judgement, technical experience, analytical thinking, and multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions
- BS degree in Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent.
- More than 5 years experience in supply chain, and in the healthcare industry.
- Significant proven, progressive leadership in the supply chain OR High School Diploma/GED and profound proven, progressive leadership in the supply chain.
- Significant experience leading large, cross functional projects in the supply chain.
- Demonstrated project management skills including project initiation, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and communication.
- Project management experience in global environments.
- Proven leadership skills including coaching, mentoring and driving change.
- Project management certification, such as PMP.
- Understanding of Engineering Product Data Management system, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Engineering Change Requests, etc.
- Solid understanding of FDA or equivalent requirements in a manufacturing environment.
- MBA or Masters in Engineering or Operations, with experience in the Healthcare industry.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Black Belt certified, Lean expertise.
