As our Chef de Partie you’ll be cooking up a storm, lovingly preparing each and every dish for our guests using locally sourced and seasonal produce. You thrive on the pressure of the Kitchen, understanding that mise en place and teamwork are key to a successful service. And continuously strive for perfection in every dish, always assuring consistency and balance.
The Gig –
As a Chef de Partie, you will be assisting with the growth of our food offering, menu and workflow design. It goes without saying that our food will be paramount, but not like that all too-slick, corporate blah blah experience happening elsewhere in your traditional restaurant.
This is a challenging and busy role suited for an experienced Chef de Partie looking for the next step in your career. You must have a wealth of experience building a kitchen team culture that turns a guest's ordinary dining experience into an inspiring journey of discovery.
- Assisting in menu planning, implementation and execution
- Controlling food preparation and managing wastage for your section
- Leading by example as a hands-on-chef with excellent quality assurance and standards
- Assist in the development through innovative and original menu planning and maintenance of high food standards
- Establishing and maintaining effective employee working relationships at all times
- You will be enjoy being on tools and bringing our creations to life
- Bring your on-trend ideas, new dishes, new concepts and new menus to make our food offering the best in the area
- Good knowledge of WHS, food hygiene and efficient kitchen processes
- Your team think you're absolutely fabulous and you LOVE to train your peeps
- You work fantastically under pressure, are cucumber cool and a natural born leader who gets things done
