POSITION PURPOSE
1. Achieve the annual budget for Student Placement (Australia / New Zealand) & execute the long-term strategy of the company to strengthen its position as a leading student placement service provider in the market. This is to be achieved by finding the right balance between the local needs of customers and the global operating model.
2. Co-develop and co-execute the destination-wise activity calendars with the marketing team to deliver pipeline leads and conversion targets by intake.
3. Provide strong business leadership, instilling IDP’s vision for the organization and a performance-driven culture with the office teams.
4. Provide mentoring, coaching, and ongoing communication thereby driving high engagement and excellent business results.
5. Provide destination training, and knowledge training for the counseling team, and certify the counselor who are qualified to do the counseling works.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business & Sales Management:
1. Drive the development and implementation of country and office-based business plans which address country needs and are aligned to IDP’s strategic milestones.
2. Set and monitor office-level KPIs to support the implementation of the business plan.
3. Improve business performance by identifying and maximizing opportunities for leverage across offices of knowledge, skills, and infrastructure.
Sales Performance:
1. Develop and maintain a strong sales and service culture within the business.
2. Identify, develop and implement strategies to achieve sales objectives. Monitor results and initiate corrective action where required.
3. Collaborate with Country Destination Managers, and Marketing to develop and implement lead generation programs including events, client office visits, web, institution visits etc, ensure counselling capacity /capability as per targets and ensure consistent sales, service, and client management performance standards and benchmarks which are continuously improved.
4. Lead and support counselors to improve sales productivity through the implementation of global CRM system adoption, pipeline management, and conversion benchmarks. Improve sales skills through training.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
1. Bachelor’s or Master degree (preferable), any field
2. Working experience: minimum 4 years in Education
3. Demonstrated skill in a customer facing multinational company with experience in developing business plans, budgets, and skills to monitor, review and report on progress.
4. Ability to deliver training and coaching for Education Counsellor
5. Advanced understanding of the local education market and ability to identify new business opportunities.
6. Proven ability to motivate counseling team to achieve demonstrable outcomes
7. Practical experience in managing diverse stakeholders (clients & students) – with diverse interests – to their satisfaction, but always keeping to the ultimate goal of the organization.
