Job Description

The Assistant Manager - Operations assists Operations Manager to providing guest service as well as supervision, direction and leadership in the Operation division in accordance with the objectives, performance and quality standards established by Shangri-La Residences, Jakarta.

Carries out other special projects / tasks assigned by Supervisors. (must be included in all job description)
  • Review tenants' movements, arrivals and departures of the day and effectively communicate to departments and staff concerned.
  • Meet all arrival and departing guests and ensure that check-ins and check-outs are properly handled, as well as prepared for.
  • Fully inspect arrival and show units to ensure good, clean and working order of all details. Arrival units are set up to tenant's requests and specifications.
  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness at front driveway, lobby and public areas (smooth traffic flow and piped-in music in order).
  • Liaise with tenants and internal departments regarding any special requests.
  • Ensure the smooth running of Front Office, Recreation Facilities and Verandah Lounge, includes reviewing staffing for the next seven days.
  • Touring lobby, back of house and Residence externally to ensure all is in clean, good condition and working order.
  • Be proactive in seeking tenant's feedback and comments on Residence's facilities and services.
  • Acting on behalf on the Residence Management, in the absence of Senior Management.
  • Assume other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
