The Job:

As a Linux Support Specialist, your primary job is to deliver an excellent customer experience by troubleshooting and resolving customer concerns.

This position interfaces directly with our data center staff and development teams to ensure our platform and features have scalable architectures and that will provide a stable infrastructure to our customers.

What We Expect From You:
  • Troubleshooting Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS), Apache, Nginx, MySQL, etc.
  • Learn and adapt to the ServerHub platform, and adapt to rapid changes
  • Collaborate with the different internal support teams to improve the processes
  • Compliance with inter-workgroup processes like FTS, escalations, etc.
  • Achieving or exceeding KPIs and performance goals.
What We Require:
  • Fresh graduate of any IT-related course is encouraged to apply
  • For career shifters, non-graduate of any IT-related course and undergraduate of IT-related course, we require at least one year of experience
  • Deep understanding and knowledge in all aspects of Linux
  • Knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalling concept
  • Knowledge of Cloud Virtualization technologies such as KVM, Xen, etc
  • Team player with a positive winning attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Thrives in a fast-paced global environment
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are a must
Plus Points:
  • Knowledge of programming and scripting languages
  • Knowledge and experience In back up technology (FC, - Basic configuration Management tools ( Puppet or Chef )
  • Experience in the Web Hosting Field is a major plus
