Responsibilities
Perform field service jobs for Flow Product, Analytical System and Flow Metering Systems in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
- Deliver flow consultancy & audit services to clients. Accountable for ensuring the successful technical delivery of an assigned study/ program/ project and for developing customer relationships.
- Acts internally and externally as a technical expert for fiscal measurement systems.
- Provide technical leadership to field services & project implementation team for Measurement and Solution Lifecycle Services.
- Develop service solutions for clients by working closely with sales team.
- Participates in technical discussions & other meetings (kick-off meetings, FAT, SAT) with customers.
- Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special service assignments.
- Analyze customer issues, process, reports, P&I drawings, tests and other data to plan service work for faster solution.
- Ensure proper interdisciplinary coordination and effective communication on service projects / contracts and related activities.
- Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate program of assigned Instrument calibration / troubleshooting work and projects either in Indonesia or Overseas.
- Provide telephone technical support & recommendations to customer for instrument related issues and attend to Factory Acceptance Test for onshore and offshore customers.
- Write accurate professional reports and update company's Service Cloud system on the job progress.
- Ensure all in-field activities are carried out safely complying with company Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines and procedures.
- Willing to go extra mile to meet customer needs & business goals.
- Works closely with Sales & proposal team on providing service solutions
- Work closely with field service team members
Requirements
Degree in Instrumentation / Mechanical / Electronics Engineering and 6+ years of related experience or Diploma in Instrumentation / Mechanical / Electronics Technology and 8+ years related experience in instrumentation and flow metering for the Oil & Gas / Petroleum industry.
- Excellent problem solving skills with experience in field services of Analytical & Flow metering systems (e.g. installation and commissioning, preventive maintenance, refurbishments, site surveys, FAT, SAT etc.)
- Experineced in troubleshooting & maintenance of Analytical Instruments and Flow meters (various technologies), Gas Chromatorgraphs, Pressure transmitters , Temperature transmitters and other measurement devices related to flow metering systems.
- Experienced in configuration and programming of Flow Computers, HMI, PLCs.
- Knowledge of relavent industry standards applicable for flow measurement system & custody transfer systems.
- Fluent in English.
- Interpersonal, communication & influencing skills to effectively communicate & advocate service solutions to customers.
