Requirements
At Cadmus, we’re doing a lot of great work rapidly to create a profound impact on our world through the power of education. With Cadmus currently being used in 50+ countries, we’re looking for a Financial Officer who is passionate about
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, our Financial Officer will:
- Accurately and completely prepare and examine our financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide financial advice and support our organisation, including helping to understand financial reports, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and making recommendations for financial planning and strategy.
- Assist with our tax preparation and compliance with tax laws.
- Analyse financial information and make recommendations to improve our financial performance.
- Ensure our compliance with financial laws and regulations related to financial reporting, tax, and corporate governance.
- Establish a representative office in Indonesia and support the Indonesian visa process for internationals.
- Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Accounting or equivalent from a top University
- 7+ years experience working in Accounting at a leading global technology provider
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; to analyse financial data and identify trends and issues
- Attention to detail; to ensure financial records are accurate and complete; and avoid errors and discrepancies
- Great communication skills; to clearly and effectively explain financial concepts and reports to colleagues and other stakeholders
- Highly articulate spoken and written English communications skills with a gift for explaining complex pedagogical ideas succinctly
- Experience using Xero and other specialised software; to manage financial records and complete tasks such as preparing financial statements and tax returns
- Exceptional organisational skills; to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work effectively
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in Indonesia, related to financial reporting, tax, and corporate governance (and bonus points for equivalent knowledge of Australian laws and regulations)

Hiring Process

We shall review your application, and if you are successful, we will invite you to participate in our interview process. If you are unsuccessful, we will let you know why and try our best to help you fill in any gaps.
Our interview process consists of a recruiter phone screen, a hiring manager interview, a homework task and a panel interview. These will be completed online (via Zoom).
