The Utility Supervisor will be accountable for the performance of all utilities on the site. In this role, you will partner collaboratively with internal and external parties with issues related to all energy sources, energy efficiency, Refrigerant System and other utilities. You will be responsible for overseeing legal and company compliance and give guidance in the energy transition. You will improve the stability, capability and availability of the utility processes while reducing variability and mitigating risks in the operational area. You will enable the operational area to achieve variable and fixed cost and operating efficiency targets while protecting our people, communities, the environment and assets and honor our business obligations.
Key Accountabilities
- Operate and monitor Utility equipment.
- Plan and schedule maintenance of plant utility systems using reliability models and predictive technologies in collaboration with maintenance leadership.
- Monitor and manage variable and fixed utility and energy costs working closely with technology, finance, operations. compliance and third party contracting teams.
- Plan and monitor production shutdowns ensuring legal and preventive maintenance compliance of all utility equipment.
- Participate in project planning, cost estimation, tracking and payback justification for utility area.
- Mentor the utility team to help them improve skills and be prepared to make decisions in high pressure situations.
- Plan and prioritize work orders, scheduling overall repair and maintenance to minimize production downtime and disruptions.
- Engage the employees responsible for the repairs and maintenance of equipment and machines.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Experience supporting audit compliance and root/cause analysis processes
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
- Experience supervising industrial contractors, maintenance and field personnel
- Experience and understanding of plant operations, Ammonia Refrigerant System, Thermal Heat Oil, steam and condensate distribution systems, compressed air supply, cooling towers and water treatment Plant.
- Experience and understanding of Reliability Excellence, TPM or other World Class Maintenance System.
