Job Summary

Acts under direct instruction, performing actuarial duties in order to provide highly accurate data and analyses for use by more senior actuaries in relation to reserving, reporting, quantitative risk management or the pricing of business.

Job Qualifications
  • Actuarial Science/Mathematics graduate from reputable university with preferrable working experience. Fresh graduates are welcomed.
  • Strong technical actuarial knowledge from academic or work experience.
  • Strong skills with MS Excel and MS Access. Strong skills with VBA, R, or SQL is a plus.
  • Strong drive, willingness to learn, and passion for actuarial work.
  • Excellent time management to finish work under minimal supervision.
  • Good verbal and written English and communication skills.
  • Have passed several actuarial examinations from Local/International would be preferred
Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities
  • Support valuation process of Zurich Topas Life's (ZTL) book of business (mainly under liability side with some knowledge on asset side of the book) as well as extract insights and analysis based on the valuation.
  • Support ZTL's reporting process based on the valuation and perform the overall process in accordance to pre-defined controls with proper documentation in the scope of:
  • Local submission, including but not limited to: Laporan Operasional OJK Monthly, Laporan Aktuaris, Adhoc OJK's request
  • Group submission, including but not limited to: MCEV report, Input for SST and Zurich Internal Model
  • Internal purpose, including but not limited to: NBV, Experience Monitoring, and Risk Monitoring
  • Maintain actuarial process' controls to be relevant with the changing actuarial reporting process
  • Support and give actuarial point of view to related internal stakeholders (e.g. accounting team, PPM team, data ware house team, IT team), or external stakeholders (e.g. external auditors) for both group and local reporting process.
  • Aid team member and other stakeholders in ad-hoc projects (especially those related to group and local reporting).
