The role will be responsible for leading Planning, implementation of the BG strategy, driving GM improvement, working across CMs across supply chain within the BG. The role will also engage significantly with the BU SC organisation.
Key Accountabilities:

- Act as Supply Chain Ambassador creating key linkages with other functions and between global teams, CMs & BU Teams
- Leverage agile resources to carry out key LTCP initiatives, while also building future fit technologies to facilitate this and in the process harmonise LTCP activities globally.
- Provide Long Term Capacity Planning, set up Network Design studies with SCS team and partner the BUs & CMs to implement the studies already completed to drive a step change towards SC efficiencies.
- Provide guidance to BU & CMs as to future network constraint and prescribe the SC options to maximise CU, minimise SCCC and capex
- Prepare BC with BUs & CMs for the capacity needed & register capex with engineering.
- Track capex to implementation
- Track mould/dies inventory with procurement
- Identify cross-border opportunities based on projected volume/market growth
- Ensure BU & CM visibility and alignment to key projects and initiatives which will impact the network in the future
- Provide SC competitive benchmarking for key networks
- Prepare a resilience plan for core BUs & CMs and update the plan for readiness.
- Liaise with CM team to ensure that the relevant capacity planning is performed and incorporated in the category plans.
- Plan capacity as well as augmentation of the same with critical global suppliers to ensure the category strategy is reflected in their capacity and capability

Key Skills / Experience Required
- Extensive Supply Chain experience across the different SC functions
- Data & Analytics experience, ideally with building automation
- Influencing skills are paramount and ability to further actions
- Project management and delivering cross-functional change initiatives
- Ability to work independently, taking ownership to positively influence end to end results
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal. Able to translate ideas into clear and specific project plans
- Strong analytical capabilities, familiarity with global supply transformation programmes
- Organisationally aware, connecting the activities across Supply Chain and beyond, whilst delivering on day-to-day activities.

- Strong leadership experience
- Ideally working in a complex, global organization to deliver results, working and collaborating with other teams and functions and making things happen
- Experience of working in agile teams and understanding of agile methodologies
- A robust knowledge of supply chain key issues and challenges from Strategy, Planning, Logistics, Manufacturing, Procurement and Sustainability.
- Experience of working at a senior level to structure programmes
- Experience of managing multiple projects to achieve commercial goals to unleash Unilever to win.
- Experience with partnering with executive level stakeholders to drive culture and process change
