An exciting Sales & Marketing Manager (Home Appliances) job opportunity has become available at one of the top multinational household appliances companies.
About the Sales & Marketing Manager (Home Appliances) Role:
You will be responsible for full P&L, along with responsibility of managing the external and internal stakeholders, overseeing the operations, financial and budget planning and business strategy of company business in respects to business unit, managing profit and loss to meet agreed targets by managing of business unit sales and marketing activities maximise profitability to achieve sales targets and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve bottom line as well as overall business unit profitability
- Provide leadership and directions in the daily operations of marketing and sales
- Strengthen brand marketing presence and position
- Prospect new business opportunities for respected business unit growth
- Ensure that marketing and sales expenditures are within the budgets in accordance to the brands and ensure that the unit business are operated in a cost-effective manner
- Prepare and establish annual sales targets and plans for each brand for management approval prior to the start of the financial year
- Determine operating and expense budgets for all brands and ensure that such budgets are effectively manage
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related degree
- At least five years' experience in technical goods business, if possible in home appliances
- Proven skills in sales management: selling technical goods, working with stores, negotiating orders, etc.
- Marketing skills: brand management at store level, display, merchandising, product positioning, etc.
- Digital skills: sales to e-commerce, advertising, brand management on digital platforms, etc.
- Strong leadership skills and English fluency is a must
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally, but will be based in Jakarta
- Proactive, agile, self-sufficient and able to take initiatives within the company's guidelines
- Strong commercial business acumen
- Strong connections/relationships with the key players in the market
- International exposure is a plus point
- A good understanding of the technical side of the products and able to do up-selling/cross-selling with the company's products and services
