Objectives of this role
- Develop new metrics for driving business performance relative to strategic priorities and minimizing risk
- Drive value within the business through margin enhancement, lower costs, and operational efficiencies
- Execute accurate reporting that enables sound analysis and financial recommendations
- Provide insights into business performance vs. competitor and industry trends
- Manage relationships with bankers, auditors, and tax authorities
- Comply with national and local financial regulations by studying existing and proposed legislation
- Oversee the financial activities of the Company for financial reporting and help management make financial decisions.
- Responsible for preparing, analyzing, and reporting financial performance against key business metrics.
- Prepare budget and regular forecast in conjunction with the requirements of the company
- Evaluate the processed accounting information in the system to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget and operating effectiveness of the organization.
- Responsible for overseeing the month-end closing process.
- Manage cash flow and forecasting.
- Lead and ensure compliance with statutory annual audit process and tax reporting.
- Liaise with auditors and tax consultants.
- Monitor financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met.
- Preparing business activity reports, financial statements, and forecasts.
- Ensuring financial legal requirements are met.
- Developing financial reporting systems.
- Finding ways to reduce or maintain costs by studying financial reports and business processes.
- Analyzing market trends to discover business opportunities and maximize profits.
- Aiding management in financial decisions.
- Maintaining up-to-date financial system knowledge.
- Bachelor degree in accounting/finance or full professional qualification
- At least 8 years of working experience in similar roles
- Experience using ERP System
- Excellent ability to problem solve along with solid analytical skills, understanding of the business process, and systems optimization.
- Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a fast paced environment at a rapidly growing company.
- Ability to review data and make relevant management decisions.
- Strong financial system and business administration understanding.
- Strong leadership and highly motivated to overcome challenges
- Strong Excel skill
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting.
- Personal integrity and an ability to maintain the confidentiality of company and client information
