- Manage and monitor permit and/or approval requirements and processes to ensure that all permits, licenses, and approvals are obtained in time effectively. Particularly related to land acquisition, AMDAL, environmental, communities, and security.
- Oversee and ensure that our client is compliant with government obligations and regulations.
- Manage and implement stakeholder engagement programs with national government, sub-national government, and local communities to gain support.
- Draft reports according to internal and external requirements.
- Willing to be based in Jakarta with ability to frequently travel to Balikpapan and Halmahera.
- Has at least 5 years of experience in government relations/permit in mining industry
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Good understanding of relevant laws and regulations, including mining, environment, and forestry
- Strong networks within government agencies at national and sub-national level
- Fluency in written and verbal English and Indonesian - direct report is an expat
- Willingness to frequently travel to project sites (Balikpapan and Halmahera)
