About the Company:
Our client is one of the fastest-growing data centre providers globally. The company has grown rapidly organically and through investments in market-leading businesses, with over 130 data centres across key business markets including Singapore, China, India, Thailand, and the United Kingdom.
Our client recently entered into a strategic partnership with Indonesian conglomerate and a Singapore-based company to develop a new data centre operating platform in Jakarta.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the FM and DC operations, reporting to the Data Center Operations Manager
- Design and implement both technical and operations, ensuring all requirements are met, including 24/7 coverage
- Plan and operational budgets while driving CI initiatives in the identification and tracking of performance metrics and indicators
- Work on facilities functions and operations, implementing policies and safety procedures and engaging with supporting vendors, internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure synergy between cross function teams, ensuring overall management of the DC team
- Proven track record in DC operations with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Experience handling large teams and global stakeholder management, coupled with hands on experience in managing large DC operations
- Prior success in driving CI and OE in the management of DCs,
- A proven track record of negotiations in vendor and tender management
- Motivated and comfortable working in an incredibly fast and fluid organization
