Responsibilities * Supervising for all incoming and outgoing funds related to settlement will be reported properly to Treasury and posting client’s account on timely manner.
  • Supervising for all tax calculation that occurs i.e tax on accrue and tax on capital gain.
  • Coaching and supervising all staff Team Support (including prepare the training plan within settlement area)
  • Maintain team building and cooperation among the staff
  • Comply with CSA and SOP
  • Responsible for BCP involvement and participation
  • Discuss with team support core on monthly basis i.e. discuss quality achievements, business volumes, conduct formal/informal coaching with Team Support Core Custody from time to time. Participate on customer and demonstrate improvement (if any).
  • Implementation DBS value and DBS Way to Most Respected and Admired (MRA) Company. Discuss and agree any changes in organization structure (if any)
  • Implement staff development/training plan as agreed with subordinates, ensure improvement in competencies, and manage out poor performances.
  • Actively support and ensure the development do DBSI Academy trainees through:
  • active mentoring
  • assignment of projects
  • coaching and development during attachments.
  • Ensure adequate staff available to support BAU and support the Settlement Manager for hiring process in place as per approval & budget.
Requirements * Minimum bachelors’ degree from reputable university
  • Having at least 5 years working experience in Custody Business
  • Having good knowledge on Tax and Compliance
