- Financial Analysis
- Perform historical financial analysis / financial spreadsheet
- Build projected financial assumptions (e.g. Base Case, Downside Case, Sensitivity Case, constructed cashflow, etc)
- Perform variance analysis between forecasts versus actual financial results
- Independently check and validate the viability of proposed credit, including borrower's purpose of the loans and its repayment capability
- Quarterly perform timely assessment and submission of Watch List Report
- Quarterly track and monitor specific borrower's internal credit triggers and follow up on the action plans
- Conduct an independent credit call to the borrower as defined in commercial credit policy à If our facility is short term and uncommitted, or if the borrower is a public listed company or it is not being explicitly stipulated in the Covenants, the borrower can refuse quarterly call visit and share quarterly information update with us (except for annual review).
- Perform rapid portfolio review / stress tests as deemed necessary, triggered by the emergence of specific event / credit risk
- Industry Research / Analysis
- Perform industry update at a minimum annually or as defined in the established Target Market (TM) / Risk Acceptance Criteria (RAC)
- Perform industry analysis whenever applicable for the Credit Proposal preparation
- Portfolio Management
- Conduct at a minimum annual update on TM/RAC and credit underwriting guidelines for industries in which Corporate Banking has been designated as sector champion. Country sector limit / Risk Appetite are being performed /updated by Risk Management.
- People Management
- To improve knowledge and skills through self-improvement activities i.e. training, learning session, etc.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Comply with any of the Bank policies and procedures i.e. administrative & compliance requirements
