- Work with design and product development team to develop product designs and new ideas for textile fabrics for each delivery season for trend, innovation and color direction
- Create design specifications for color schemes, construction and material types; coordinate with affiliate workers engaged in constructing samples, patterns or finished garments
- Ensuring product is in agreement with business strategy
- Identify new opportunities relevant to the firm’s customer base through market research
- Manage new design and fit styles while also maintaining corporate standard for bulk production
- Do the work to cost out all of the components needed for a garments production
- Assist a design team with communicating to vendors on design, production, other issues
- Bachelor degree in Fashion Design
- 2+ years design experience
- Having experience in designing apparel is a must
- Proficient with Adobe Ilustrator
- Understand lab dip samples
- A perfectionist with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent sense of style and color
