- Managing insurers' claims from the first notification of loss to end, specifically in Marine (cargo & hull) areas.
- Assisting insurers throughout all the claim recovery process including but not limited to reporting the loss to reinsurers, working closely with insurers to fulfill all relevant requirements by reinsurers, follow up the claim process and progress with insurers, claim payment collection to reinsurers, arrange claim payment to insurers etc.
- Examining all the reinsurance terms and conditions, and ensuring the insurers will receives claim recovery from reinsurers as per the maximum benefits of their reinsurance slip/ policy.
- Collaborate with other team members and various practices within Marsh Reinsurance Broker to provide superior claims services to insurers.
- Perform excellent claims handling, process, management, and data statistic & administration.
- Bachelor's degree qualification with 4 – 6 years’ of claims experience in insurance brokerage and/or underwriting, specifically in Marine Claims area
- Outstanding analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Willingness to learn, possess a positive attitude and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Problem solver oriented
- Self-motivated, highly organized, resourceful and meticulous
- Proficient in MS Office applications, specifically Excel
- Able to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Able to work independently as well as within a team
