An FP&A Manager job has become available at a unicorn start-up to add to their FP&A team.
About the FP&A Manager Role:
The FP&A Manager will be preparing management reports and analysis, driving achievement of financial target, leading budgeting, and forecasting process, business partnering with department heads, initiating improvement projects, and applying best practices to enhance control, process efficiency, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management/cost accounting, management reporting, budgeting, finance and taxes
- Produce and analyse relevant financial, management and production information/reports and KPIs
- Collaborate with different finance functions (accounting, consolidation, tax, finance operations, and corporate technology) to achieve business objectives
- Drive and lead any ad hoc projects to ensure operating and financial reporting process are performed effectively and efficiently
- Maintain cost allocation drivers with relevant stakeholder to ensure accurate segment level and product level profitability
- Coach and develop internal FP&A team members and hold regular sharing sessions within the FP&A team to ensure information alignment
Key Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in accounting/finance is required, postgraduate degree is preferred
- At least seven years of work experience, preferably in a financial analysis role
- At least three years of experience working on cost related analysis, including cost optimisation exercise, cost consolidation, and setting up cost allocation rules
- Dedicated, hands-on and a results-driven personality
- Strong analytical, business acumen, interpersonal, and communication skills Great organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
