About the Department

The Human Resources function balances organisational aspirations and employee needs, as we accelerate and strengthen people capabilities to enable sustainable business growth at UOB. Job Responsibilities
  • Act as the subject matter expert pertaining to recruitment matters for respective business units served.
  • Responsible for end-to-end cycle of recruitment process from job advertising, sourcing, interview arrangement, candidate management, offering, employment contract signing, monitoring of pre-employment checking and onboarding until the candidate successfully join the Bank.
  • Manage and ensure that all the job requisitions in the recruitment system are up to date.
  • Responsible and ensure that all selection process related documents are collected in the due time.
  • Conduct external talent mapping on regular basis to ensure readiness of succession planning.
  • Consult and provides advisory to Hiring Manager and HRBP in identifying and locating the best possible talents for each positions.
  • Meet the needs of recruitment fulfillment in accordance with requests from HRBP and related business units.
  • Carry out the recruitment process in accordance with applicable regulations, procedure and in line with HRBP directives.
  • Ensure that approvals from the authorized officers are in place, and are in accordance with the approved Manpower Planning for all vacant positions.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree, or equivalent and above.
  • Minimum 8 years working experience in recruitment, experience handling Corporate Support functions will be a major plus.
  • Established network in banking industry will be a major plus.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Possess good communication skill with clear articulation.
  • Good analytical thinking and able to demonstrate capability of working with Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, with proof of ability to work in fast-pace as well as structured environment.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, high proactivity, and able to work under tight deadline.
