Basic Function
o To ensure that site operations in Gempol is comply with current and future legal and regulatory requirements and with Lyondellbasell policies and procedures.
o To ensure that site manufacturing operations in Gempol is meeting the current and future needs of Lyondellbasell business in Indonesia, in a safe, reliable and cost-effective manner
o To assist in developing long-middle-short term objectives for the MBS business in Indonesia.
Roles & Responsibilities
1) Leadership responsibility for HSE management, manufacturing operations, quality improvement, cost reductions, productivity and process improvements, equipment and automation development for positive growth and profitability.
2) Develop Site HSE strategies and assure implementation of the Local and Corporate HSE Standards, Policies and Guidelines with accurate follow-up. Engage appropriate resources in the ongoing HSE improvement activities
3) Create and foster commitment to allow the highest degree of integration of team members and develop individual capabilities through performance assessment and tutoring activities. Manage and train department managers and all employees, evaluate, motivate and upgrade talent as required. Motivate people.
4) Identify, drive and implement a set of key programs for improvement in terms of HSE, reliability, efficiency, product quality and consistency.
5) Control overall business working capital (stocks etc) within agreed budget. Implement management controls to ensure fiscal responsibility and a healthy financial structure; Establish a set of key performance indicators (KPIs) for all activities, assuring adequate follow-up
6) Direct the preparation of business plan, annual budgets and operating plans and further monitor operating budgets and take corrective actions to address budget deviations.
Min. Qualifications
Education:
o Bachelor degree or above in Polymer or Material Science, Chemical Engineering or other Engineering background.
Work Experience:
o Minimum of 7 to 10 years experiences in multinational company, preferably in the Manufacturing in Chemical or Advanced Polymers industry.
Licenses & Certifications:
o Basic HSE training and certifications according to local raw and regulations
o Lean - Green belt
