Job Description

The Role Responsibilities
  • Managing administrative tasks related to Industrial Relations or Employee Relations in country
  • Conducting employee activities as stated in the Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) or any other ER activities is implemented on time.
  • Preparing and submitting ER related reports for internal and external, as required, including regular report to the regulators.
  • Managing Employee Relations vendors, ensuring the engagement process and their contract is in accordance with applicable regulations.
Strategy
  • Supporting the implementation of Employee Relations strategy for Indonesia or as defined by the local Country Management Team (CMT) and ER Leadership team.
Business
  • Providing responsive and high-quality support to the Head of Employee Relations in terms of case documentation.
  • Maintaining good relationship with all Employee Relations stakeholders including the Union committee.
Processes
  • Ensure Employee Relations processes are well documented, and all the activities are inline with the applicable rules and regulations.
  • Responsible to understand the vendor management process, liaise with the supply chain management team (SCM)
People and Talent
  • Responsible to provide education/knowledge sharing to the stakeholders, such as people leaders and employees on matters related to Employee Relations process, such as Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), etc.
Risk Management
  • Perform maker-checker processes to ensure that every documentation issued by Employee Relations is in accordance with predetermined standards.
  • Ensuring all the case process is well documented and recorded in the system.
Governance
  • Preparing and submitting Employee Relations reports to all stakeholders on time.
  • Ensure Indonesia adheres to the Group's policies/standards on Disciplinary, Grievance, and any associated policies and procedures where they apply, and/or with local approved dispensations.
Regulatory and Business Conduct
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and the Group Code of Conduct.
