Position Overview

Based at our Indonesia head office in Jakarta, in order to further strengthen our business development team we are currently seeking an:

Product Manager

(Jakarta, Indonesia)

Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate for this key function will be responsible for initiating marketing design, planning, and execution of the strategy in their respective business unit.

Key Accountabilities

1. Market Intelligence: analyze and build market intelligence for the product category on customer - competitor - consumer - company level.

a. Accelerate the growth and achieve the budget turnover through establishing and executing marketing programs which directly contribute to sales, brand recognition and customer satisfaction.

b. Responsible in developing and implementation of marketing plans for specific business unit (bakery, patisserie, or chocolate).

c. Responsible to design suitable marketing plans that tailored to each customer channel.

2. Strategic Planning: develop and implement mixed Marketing channel strategy. Conduct, gather data, and/or analyze survey/research pertaining to market knowledge, customer knowledge, competitor analysis, consumer analysis that support further development of market opportunities and optimize product mix strategy.

3. Business Management: responsible for product management review, process, and implementation which include new product launch process and post launch monitoring.

4. Customer Relationship Management:

a. Responsible to develop & execute marketing communication plans, activation, campaign or activities to support sales function.

b. Develop effective marketing approach/ trade marketing plans for key account management.

Profile
  • Minimum of Bachelor degree in any major with strong personal interest in Marketing and Business Development.
  • At least have 6 years of hands-on experiences in marketing function, preferably in B2B food or food ingredients industry.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Computer skills: excellent command of MS office and good knowledge of business analytics software/system.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Independent person with proactive mindset and can-do spirit that also works as team contributor.
  • Good analytical thinker who has strong business acumen and works efficiently.
  • Ability to build consensus and lead cross-functions team of other departments and colleagues e.g. GM, R&D, Sales, Technical, Operations, etc.
  • Creative, energetic, and self-motivated.
