- Discover, identify, analyse, execute, manage, and monetise dislocations and mispricing, in financial markets.
- Partner the development and implementation of the paper trading strategy.
- Continuously explore business opportunities with additional market counter parties - brokers, banks, etc
- Development of daily dashboards
- Formulate and execute trading strategies in metals markets, leveraging all applicable trade able instruments within the metals complex.
- Actively discuss market drivers, inefficiencies, and intangible optionality within the market with sales team, to formulate trade ideas for the trading book.
- Deliver the trading strategies within company's defined risk and governance framework.
- Complete responsibility of metals futures trading desk contribution to the implementation of any new risk management systems regarding physical and financial commodity transactions.
- Ensure all trades are executed within approved limits as decided by BoD
- Degree in business, engineering, or mathematics
- Post-graduate qualification in business / management (desirable).
- Minimum 10 years in commodities trading and structuring.
- Experience in physical and financial trading for copper (desirable).
- Strong understanding and application of risk management principles.
- Financial knowledge and commercially minded, innovative mindset and openness to new ideas.
- Proven track record of capability to work independently in international matters.
- Previous experience in working across different geographies (desirable).
