- Responsible for the safe work practice standard implementation in relation to electrical safe work practices in accordance to the company regulations
- Lead the Operations Technical Solutions Electrical Engineering to meet organization targets in the area of personnel safety, cost effective, technical compatibility with existing work practices, long-term reliability.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure that all phases of the development of new plants, such as preliminary design, qualification of vendor, conceptual review, and FAT of new technologies or designs, are carried out safely, quickly, and technically.
- share information, develop new safety-related work practices, share electrical incidents, and discuss issues with the HQ and other Electrical Engineering managers.
- Provide technical help either remotely or onsite for the operation and maintenance of the electrical equipment operations
- Provide and carry out programs for training and certification of all plant-based operating and maintenance staff whose responsibilities include handling and testing electrical equipment, such as MV switchgear, LV control centers, and similar equipment.
- Ensure the safe execution of technical modifications and alterations to electrical systems and equipment as necessary for process systems and equipment to operate continuously on-stream.
- Provide technical leadership by promptly supplying information, drawings, manuals, and other documents for safe and competent repair and troubleshooting of broken electrical equipment and systems
- Carry out plant performance enhancement projects and initiatives to increase reliability.
- Maintaining, updating electrical drawings and documents
- Participate in RCA, and to prevent equipment failures.
- Bachelor of Electronics Engineering & equivalent with strong emphasis on heavy power knowledge
- 15-20 years of experiences in the same field an industrial work environment with at least 5 years in a leadership position
- Minimum of 5 years of of operational experience in the in the field of petrochemical, chemical or gas plants (owner side)
- Has managed a team before and has proven track record in leadership
- English fluency
- Understands OPEX, CAPEX and budgeting
- Proficiency in: MV switchgear (troubleshooting with schematics drawing, circuit breaker operations); low voltage motor and equipment control; transformer with the capacity up to 80MVA
- Technical knowledge in UPS, electrical network operations in large power substations, operations, design and maintenance of electrically hazardous equipment, MV induction and synchronous motor operations
