Your Role and Responsibilities
The Brand Partner Specialist (BPS) specializing in the IBM Power server portfolio focuses on a defined Client or Partner and drives brand sales through Business Partners. The BPS delivers differentiated value through IBM's technology portfolio to clients during the pre-sales and customer engagement phase of an opportunity. In order to identify opportunities and co-create and implement best-matching client-centric solutions with the Partners, the BPS in this speciality applies broad expertise across the Infrastructure portfolio.
Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
- At least 3 years of experience in Sales/Solutions Sales/Product Specialist/Account Manager/similar role in Infrastructure/Hardware solutions
- Has experience working with Business Partners, SI, VAR, ISVs in the IT and technology industry.
- Has strong knowledge of Infrastructure/Hardware products and technology.
- Has experience in selling IBM Power server
- Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams including marketing, solution architecture and program management.
