We will count on you to:
- Lead negotiator and problem solver in obtaining the most appropriate carrier placements based upon cedant needs.
- Utilizes risk expertise and knowledge of industry and markets to develop placement solutions that meet cedant needs.
- Submits coverage specifications and obtains quotes from reinsurers, binds coverage and is responsible for the accuracy of programs they have bound.
- Builds and maintains relationships with cedants and reinsurance markets,.
- Acts as the primary source of information concerning market conditions, including pricing trends, coverage grants, and other underwriting issues.
- 5-8 years work experience in insurance industry most preferably on facultative reinsurance placement
- Good technical knowledge on Property, Engineering and Casualty insurance is a must. Understanding on Energy insurance is plus point.
- Good understanding in structuring proportional and non proportional placement
- Fluent oral and written English
- Attention to details,
- Ability to work independently.
