- Ensure the most favorable business climate for the client's operations
- Lead the policy advocacy efforts to safeguard the client's business interests
- Spearhead environmental excellence advocacy agenda for the company across all areas
- Create and execute engagement plans with government agencies, industry coalitions, and other organizations
- Ensure the full compliance of regulatory requirements covering permits/licenses/approvals
- Provide insights and advice to business leaders and team members on all government advocacy
- Oversee external and executive communications initiatives and opportunities
- Promote sustainability activities, including partnerships with NGOs, government agencies, and internal employee volunteering initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in social science, communications, political science, law, or equivalent
- At least 12 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, and/or communications
- Prior work experience in FMCG and/or multinational companies is a must
- Strong networks within the central government agencies, primarily related to investment, and relevant associations
- Good understanding of business dynamics and investment incentives in Indonesia
- Good understanding of policy and regulations related but not limited to sustainable agriculture, taxation, waste management, water stewardship, taxation, and health
- Proven track record in managing government stakeholders, communication crises, and securing licenses
- Excellent communication skills and media savvy
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken
